Is to create a fitness club that is dedicated to its members, providing them with the foundations they need to live a happy and fulfilling life. We want to show our members the positive effects of fitness, especially when training as a group. We know the gym is a great place to start your fitness journey. However exercising as a group has many advantages. Such as building new friendships, meeting new people, working as a team and having someone who's got your back at all times. The Forge has many exciting ideas for the journey ahead, so come and join our community and we can grow together.
Hi my name is Miles. I served in the British Army for 4 years and this is where I developed my passion for fitness. I decided to start The Forge to be able to share with people the power of exercising with others. I experienced massive benefits from exercising with my fellow soldiers, both physically and mentally. There's something special about the camaraderie that is forged between people when going through hard times together. I believe I can recreate this camaraderie within my fitness club for others to experience (don't worry this doesn't mean army training). I have also battled with my mental health for a few years and have had to learn many self help techniques over that time. I believe I could share these with others to better their lives if they are struggling or just want to better themselves. After leaving the Army I now work as a mentor supporting young people with various problems and I love the difference I can make to their lives. My next Goal is to make The Forge a success.
